​Maximising over a decade of creative studio practice UK Pop Artist Lhouette sets new boundaries in a brand new body of original works, including a custom reworking of the famed Ford GT Super Car. This new series from the studio orbits itself around the Ford GT, drawing, deconstructing and recontextualizing elements into new works of original art that in turn form a brand new skin on the physical car itself. 

In association with world famous automotive and social media personality Shmee-150, the studios flagship representatives Wyecliffe Galleries, and Bonhams one of the world's largest and most renowned auctioneers in contemporary art and motor cars.

Lhouette Studios united with the mental health charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) with the aim to focus on provoking conversations around men’s mental health, by reaching new art and automotive audiences and increase awareness about the importance of finding ways to manage our wellbeing everyday. The original artworks from the ‘HYPER POP’ project showcased at Bonhams, New Bond Street Gallery and sold via the Pop X Culture online auction. Raising over £11,500 to help fund CALM’s life-saving outreach and support works in preventing suicide across the UK. For more information visit www.thecalmzone.net.

LEGACY EDITIONS


A Lhouette Legacy Edition refers to a limited run of mixed media works inspired by an original painting that has gained particular prominence by featuring in either a major exhibition or gallery project. Additionally, said works might have contributed significantly to raising awareness for charitable causes, featured in large scale media / PR campaigns, or sold through globally recognised auction houses.​

Drawing inspiration from the Hyper Pop Campaign
 this new mixed media editioned artwork ‘Headspace’ is drawn from the final original installation. This newly formatted studio worked edition carries forward its legacy and symbolises its influential reach. Moreover, each Legacy Edition sold contributes to a noble cause, with a studio donation to the charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) with every edition sold. These funds support CALM's crucial work in suicide prevention across the UK, continuing the campaign's commitment to making a significant difference.

POP X Culture Auction

​The thrilling Bonhams POP X auction event marked the pinnacle celebration of HYPER POP  - raising over £11,000 for mental health charity CALM. For one night only, HYPER POP  was unveiled at the Haunch of Venison Yard, capturing eager crowds queued outside the doors of Bond Street. An honour to talk about the project on stage with the CEO of CALM Simon Gunning, talking about the inspiration and journey of the project and the importance of mental health awareness. Additional event highlights featured hundreds of enthusiastic attendees, videos and images capturing the buzzing atmosphere, and national press coverage from the likes of The Independent, Press and Journal, Western Daily Press, and more.

A special thanks to Wyecliffe Galleries for their intrinsic involvement throughout and continued support of the studio, and to Tim Burton (Shmee150) for for donating a truly special canvas and the amazing enthusiasm and hospitality from the Bonhams - Pop X Culture team!

SuperCar Owners circle

​Following the HYPER POP's showcase with Bonhams at the Goodwood Festival of Speed the journey continued in the beautiful mountains of Marbella, Spain with the world’s most exclusive car club during September.

​The Ford GT and associated original artworks showcased at the coveted Supercar Owners Circle (SOC), gaining the attention from SOC attendee’s to avid car spotters and art enthusiasts alike.

In attendance with the team at Wyecliffe Galleries, Shmee150 and myself were then invited on stage, following the incredible gala dinner to present ‘HYPER POP’  and discuss the project so far, from the creative conception to studio execution, whilst also promoting the charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably). The evening proved an excellent opportunity to reach new audiences through their passions of super cars and art and to provoke conversations around men’s mental health and the life saving works of CALM.
