 Over the last six months, I've been quietly training for the London Marathon! I'll be running this epic race on the 21st April 2024 raising money for Save The Children.
As an extra incentive. other than Save the Children being an excellent cause to support (especially with all the conflict across the world right now) we are going to hold a Lhouette Lottery for one of our infamous Angel Cake wall sculptures! Angel Cake, reworked in many different guises over the last decade has become the emblem of the studio, having been showcased and displayed world wide both in the public and private spaces and very much one of our most collected, identifiable works from the studio. The year started with a flurry of activity as we collaborated with TAG Fine Arts at the esteemed London Art Fair, Showcasing a number of prominent studio works. We are now gearing up for the next series of Lhouette showcases alongside the TAG team in global locations such as Hong Kong and New York. In addition to this, we have been focusing on all new fresh collections, now making their debut on the streets and within our partner galleries. This flurry of activity marks an exhilarating start to the year a, brimming with creativity and new opportunities.  IN COLLABORATION WITH Maximising over a decade of creative studio practice UK Pop Artist Lhouette sets new boundaries in a brand new body of original works, including a custom reworking of the famed Ford GT Super Car. This new series from the studio orbits itself around the Ford GT, drawing, deconstructing and recontextualizing elements into new works of original art that in turn form a brand new skin on the physical car itself.
In association with world famous automotive and social media personality Shmee-150, the studios flagship representatives Wyecliffe Galleries, and Bonhams one of the world's largest and most renowned auctioneers in contemporary art and motor cars. Lhouette Studios united with the mental health charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) with the aim to focus on provoking conversations around men’s mental health, by reaching new art and automotive audiences and increase awareness about the importance of finding ways to manage our wellbeing everyday. The original artworks from the ‘HYPER POP’ project showcased at Bonhams, New Bond Street Gallery and sold via the Pop X Culture online auction. Raising over £11,000 to help fund CALM’s life-saving outreach and support works in preventing suicide across the UK. For more information visit www.thecalmzone.net. From our last brooch / pendant-inspired collection 'The Pop De-Pendants' we've continued exploring and then exploding these aesthetic themes into this latest installation. Inspired amulets, keepsakes, lucky charms & lockets, a love of retro & vintage stylings...and the Tom Hanks movie 'Big'! Along with an imprinted conversation with a gypsy fortune teller as a boy has all amassed itself visually into the new 'Luck Maker' collection.  Today I'm very happy to share with you a new flex of original artworks from the studio. Now live and on display with our respected partner galleries... this fresh collection includes the staggering 'Hunter & Gatherer' duo and our BRAND-spanking 'Pop De-Pendant' series.
This new release jumps back into the studio's ultra bold pop art sensibilities and continues to challenge conventions with our unique sculptural formats, themes around consumer culture & social unrest .....along with featuring some little rubber ducks for good measure!
 Today we released 28 new original works of art from the studio exclusively available through our fantastic network of partner galleries - the collection includes a range of heavily layered painted paper studies, new original miniature book canvases, and a pair of 3D multi-directional (Nokia inspired) framed wall sculptures...
